I’m an Australian textile artist and Reiki Master Practitioner based in Lake Macquarie, NSW.

I create naturally-dyed, botanical print wearable textiles including original print silk scarves, linen clothing and unique artwork on paper. I sell my work regularly in Newcastle and the Hunter, including Handmade in the Hunter Markets, Pokolbin NSW with new and repeat customers from all over the world.

With a background in colour and design for over 35 years, ecoprinting and working creatively with foraged eucalyptus leaves and natural dyes was a delightful progression.

The scientific, experimental aspect of my craft keeps the process interesting and dynamic, while simultaneously creating beautiful nature-based designs that are authentically Australian.

My colour path and interests have been all encompassing, spanning it’s full spectrum of qualities (literally) from the visual, creative and functional, to the subtle energetic and therapeutic, health supportive potential and attributes.

I have, worked professionally with colour as a consultant, designer, teacher, researcher and mentor for over 30 years, encompassing environments, interior design, personal image, applied colour psychology and so much more .

As a qualified Reiki Master Practitioner I also work with Reiki (universal life force energy) also known as ‘chi’ and a Japanese-based relaxation technique to assist and inspire individuals and their intentions such as enhancing relaxation, supporting healing and achieving their personal objectives.

My reiki work can benefit individuals, businesses, animals, land encompassing “people, places, things and situations” and spanning past, present and future.

With colour as my foundation, a unique reiki service incorporating both reiki and colour with personalised intuitive colour energy sketches as artwork has naturally evolved.

I offer Colour Reiki as distant sessions, available to you wherever you live in the world. No two reiki sessions are the same, and the experience, insights and benefits from these sessions are personalised, multi-faceted and specific to the individual/each person. The takeaway being, anything from a pathway to rest and deep relaxation to inspiration and clarity gained through a greater understanding of ourselves in a delightfully creative, colourful and relaxing way.
