The cooler weather has inspired my dabbling and love of working with merino wool and cashmere. These beautiful protein fibers resonate magnificently with the process and creative alchemical magic of natural dyeing and botanical Eco printing. Deep, rich hues of golden browns to vibrant oranges and warm reds created from the heat released pigments and imprints of locally foraged eucalyptus leaves have been a delight to achieve over the autumn months and into early winter.
As I continue to be extremely busy with regular markets and custom orders, my mind and eyes are equally drawn to sourcing interesting garments - all seasonally specific and in sync with the stylish, organic simplicity that reflects the essence of our wearable art textiles.
Our one of a kind, naturally dyed Eco print pieces encompassing soft and luxurious cashmere scarves, merino wool vests and jumpers have become an exciting inclusion, adding to the warmth and integrity of our 100% natural fiber clothing range.
There is an understated yet breathtakingly beautiful honesty to naturally dyed, botanical Eco printed garments. As human beings we are drawn to these nature-based concepts, where organic colour, images and materials shape our world and experiences - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Why not nurture yourself naturally, just as nature intended.
